Coachworks Pty Ltd was established in 1989 and is a Queensland based family company specialising in the building, repair and refurbishment of buses and coaches, including chassis modification and manufacture of specialised vehicles.

The company employs a core workforce of 68 staff including 8 apprentices augmented by contractors and working partnerships through outsourcing and dedicated suppliers of parts and services to Coachworks.

The Coachworks facilities at Acacia Ridge Brisbane enables the company to service the bus and coach industry of Australia and New Zealand through its close proximity to rail and road freight terminals.

Coachworks staff have significant industry experience with the senior management and trades supervisors having between 14 and 35 years hands-on experience in trades. The range of skills in Coachworks represents a “technical skill bank” built on relevant experience with all classes of coaches and buses in building, painting, repairing and refurbishment and retrofitting.

Coachworks has a well established in-house bus & coach apprenticeship program giving essential skills transfer and providing succession for retiring personnel. The majority of our employees are permanent and long term.
